Electro - Pneumatics Level 1

This is the entry level to the BFPA learning and development programme of a two-tier competence based qualification in the maintenance and management of pneumatic systems.

This course combines the necessary knowledge and practical skills to ensure competency when working with pneumatic equipment and systems.

• Interpret electro – pneumatic circuit diagrams
• Safety in electro – pneumatic systems
• Electro-pneumatic controls
• Components and symbols
• Circuit design
• Maintain electro – pneumatic circuits

Minimum Candidates required 6 (Max 8)

This course includes the Pneumatics Foundation This course includes the
Pneumatics Foundation Level 1 training.

Please note. The training course ‘introduction to electro-pneumatics’ is not an electrical qualification and does not prepare people to work unsupervised on electrical systems. The course provides the opportunity to construct control circuits using electro-pneumatic components, in a supervised training environment, focussed on the function and operation of 24volt DC devices. Formal qualifications and relevant experience, above the scope of the course, are required for anyone working on electrical installations.
